What data we collect
When you sign up and use the cloud features of Dialektai, we process:
- Account details: first and last name, email address, phone number.
- Password hash. We do not store the password itself and cannot recover it.
- Usage events: which model was used, how many tokens were spent and when the request was made. These records contain no conversation content.
What we do not collect
- The contents of your chats with the assistant.
- Your files and documents: created and received files stay on your computer.
- Messages from connected messengers and mail accounts.
When you work on a subscription, requests to the language model pass through our server in transit: the server forwards them to the model provider and returns the answer without storing the content. When you work with your own key, requests go to the provider directly, bypassing our server.
Where we store data
Account data and usage events are stored on a server in the jurisdiction of the Republic of Kazakhstan in a PostgreSQL database. Access to the database is restricted and protected; backups are kept in the same infrastructure.
Who we share data with
The language model provider receives only the text of your requests at the moment they are processed: without it the model cannot produce an answer. Account data is not passed to the provider.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for advertising or any other purpose. The only exceptions are cases expressly required by law.
Retention periods
- Account data is kept for as long as the account exists.
- Usage events are kept for up to 12 months for subscription accounting, then deleted or anonymized.
- After the account is deleted, all data associated with it is removed within 30 days.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, a correction, or full deletion of your account. The account is deleted right in the app: “Settings → Subscription → Delete account”. Details are on the account deletion page. If you no longer have access to the app, write from the email address registered on the account to [email protected]: the request is completed within 30 days.
Cookies
The dialektai.org website and the Dialektai app do not use cookies, advertising trackers or third-party analytics counters.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will notify users by email or in the app before the changes take effect. The current version is always available at dialektai.org/en/privacy/.
